Northeastern offers four nursing programs in Boston:

Direct Entry – Hybrid Boston Nursing Program (MS)

The Direct Entry-Hybrid Program is designed for college graduates to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the same program. The end result is a master’s degree, but you receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) after 16 months.

  • Enjoy a seamless transition from BSN coursework to your advanced classes.
  • Work as a nurse while completing your master’s degree.
  • Complete one admissions application – no need to reapply for the master’s degree portion.

Two nursing degrees, one program – what could be better?

RN-to-BSN Program

As the nursing field grows, it also becomes more challenging to maintain high standards of patient care. Research proves that hospital nurses with at least a bachelor’s degree improve patient outcomes. As a result, many healthcare employers won’t hire a nurse who isn’t baccalaureate educated.

  • Program is completely online.
  • Active registered nurses can earn a BSN in as few as three semesters.
  • Part-time and full-time tracks are available.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Program (MS)

According to the March of Dimes, about 10 to 15 percent of babies born annually in the U.S. spend time in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program hones your diagnostic skills and prepares you to care for high-risk neonates in the delivery room and beyond.

  • Program is completely online.
  • Be qualified to work in Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs.
  • Additional requirements may apply.

Nursing Administration/Leadership and Policy (MS)

This master’s degree enables you to play an important role in changing the healthcare system.

  • Program is completely online.
  • Get an inside look at how healthcare facilities operate.
  • Assume leadership roles in health services across multiple settings and specialty areas.

Whether you’re a practicing RN in need of a bachelor’s degree, a baccalaureate-educated nurse who wants to specialize in a healthcare area or a college graduate looking to shake up your career, Northeastern has a nursing program that will help you reach your goals.
